Our Impact

HOW WE WORK

Clean Water Access and Water-Health & Hygiene Education

The global water crisis affects regions of the world in different ways–with water scarcity driving the need to build wells for water access. While, in other areas, water is available, but it is contaminated resulting in illness or death when consumed. Clean water access in areas where water can be filtered is where we focus by providing water filtration systems that remove contaminants that make people sick.

We combine clean water access solutions with water-health and hygiene education to help create behavior change, knowledge, and beliefs of water-health and hygiene in schools, homes and communities.

We approach all of our clean water projects with a focus on sustainability by providing a thorough system training to the school custodians and staff at time of deployment efforts to ensure system maintenance can be easily completed by local stakeholders. In addition, we conduct sustainability visits every three months for a period of five years to ensure water quality meets standards and take corrective action when necessary.
