Project Involvement

During a Planet Water project, volunteers will be involved in the following:

Assembling and erecting water towers, installing manifolds, drainage troughs, faucets, and plumbing
Classroom involvement: helping to deploy our educational program on Water-Health & Hygiene
Volunteers accompanied by Planet Water representatives / partners while in the field
Volunteers awarded certificates and a photo diary of the project to acknowledge their achievement in helping to bring children out of water poverty
Project details (photos, video, news) posted to Planet Water Live — our social media platform with live updates posted to Facebook and Twitter

Through their engagement in a Planet Water project, Volunteers and their sponsoring organizations will benefit from:

Becoming directly involved in making a difference through the sponsoring organization's social responsibility initiatives
Working closely with colleagues in a team environment to help a community in need
Being exposed to local cultures and customs
Demonstrating commitment to the community through involvement in the clean water initiative
Planet Water projects are meaningful, impactful, and create a great sense of pride and satisfaction for Volunteers and their sponsoring organizations
