Planet Water Foundation’s disaster response platform is designed to provide safe drinking water access when needed most in the wake of emergencies and natural disasters. Our teams have experience of responding to disasters across 17 countries on five continents
Typically deployed as a first response solution as soon as possible after a disaster event occurrence.
Deployed in designated evacuation centers.
Initially operated by Planet Water staff or partners, then handed over to the recipient community and operated by trained personnel.
After initial use, the AquaBlock can be re-staged for future use thus building capacity to respond to future events.
