On August 26, devastating flash floods swept through communities in Nepal, claiming more than 1,100 lives, with nearly 4,000 people still missing. Homes, roads, bridges, power infrastructure, and essential services have been severely damaged, leaving thousands of people displaced and facing urgent humanitarian needs.
The aftermath has left many without access to clean drinking water, posing a significant health threat, particularly to children, the elderly, and those with compromised immune systems.
Planet Water Foundation's Disaster Response team is working to deploy water filtration systems which will provide emergency access to safe drinking water to survivors who have been impacted by the devastating flash floods.
