May 9, 2024 – Following the devastating flooding in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, Planet Water Foundation is mobilising a response to deploy multiple AquaBlock emergency water systems to support impacted communities in the region with access to safe drinking water.
Each AquaBlock system can produce 1,500 liters of safe drinking water, enough to support up to 10,000 people. T
To date, Planet Water Foundation has deployed AquaBlock systems across the world in response to natural disasters and humanitarian crises, including most recently following the earthquakes in Morocco and Türkiye in 2023, and after Hurricane Otis in Acapulco Mexico.
